In a recent by-election for Newcastle City Council, Green candidate Nick Hartley doubled the Party’s share of the vote to 30% and polled more that the Tories and Lib Dems combined. He’ll be standing in the same ward again next month – only the Greens can beat Labour here!
Carla Denyer, co-Leader of the Green Party of England and Wales, will be visiting North East England on Tuesday 4th April, to support campaigns for the local council elections in May. She will be visiting wards in Gateshead, North Tyneside, and Darlington.
