Darlington is a town with great opportunities. We can become a beacon to the rest of the north east,
demonstrating how a new way of working will overcome our biggest challenges.
Our town is full of talented, hard-working, imaginative, and kind people; the characteristics that I will
reflect as your MP. I base my decisions on evidence rather than dogma. I am a good listener with an
open mind, and I strive to help wherever I can. As a former senior sales manager, I understand that
team work is key to any organisation and the voice of everyone needs to be heard. For over 30 years I
have championed policies that will build a fairer, greener country.
I am ready to get to work as your MP, making sure that everyone benefits from the opportunities the
future can bring. We have a once in a generation chance to invest in our country, bringing
improvements in our communities today and opportunities that will benefit generations to come.
The Green Party have the plans and commitment to make sure everyone in Darlington has a thriving,
secure and worthwhile life. These plans will cut your fuel bills, increase the number of well paid jobs
and tackle the climate emergency.
