Michal Chantkowski
Michal joined the Green Party in 2014, as he found the Greens a powerful voice for social and
environmental justice, equality and true democracy.
He has since campaigned for the rights of migrant people, the NHS and the greenbelt, as well as
worked to build international solidarity and understanding between the green movements.
Michal has previously served as co-chair of Sunderland Green Party and International Coordinator
(and a member of the Green Party Executive).
In his day to day job, he manages a small charity based in Sunderland, and also works to make
NHS services more responsive at Newcastle University.
